Calls and sounds of three notes or more

These selections relate to the phrasing of the sound or song--whether it is continuous or broken up into identifiable sections.

(1) Songs broken up into discrete, different phrases or sections, often with pauses. These songs include those introduced by notes or chips. Includes songs introduced by one or a few notes that differ from the rest of the song.

(2) Songs sung as a continuous series of notes--without identifiable pauses or breaks. These are often hard to characterize as words, but are often called "warbles".
