Ann W. Heymann conducted interviews with 47 artists from the San Francisco Bay Area, Miami area, Arkansas, and New Orleans. The interviews were done in preparation for articles and writings published in or submitted to Art Voices/South and other publications; the Miami interviews were live radio broadcasts. Most of the interviews contain biographical information, artists' statements, and political and social attitudes.
