Manuscript 1380, National Anthropological Archives, Smithsonian Institution
Referred to by Holmes (12th Annual Report Bureau of American Ethnology, Washington, 1894, page xxviii), as a paper on "prehistoric metallic articles of the mound area." However, the manuscript has incomplete sections, marginal notes, etc. and was evidently not completed at the time of Reynoldsʹ death in 1891. It includes descriptions of only part of the artifacts; certain blank sections are marked, "Here introduce own specimens."
