Stories were numbered in 1970 to correspond with numbers of stories published in Swanton, "Myths and Tales of the Southeastern Indians," Bureau of American Ethnology-B 88, Washington, D. C., 1915, and are arranged insofar as possible in that order. The following stories are present: 1-5, 7, 9, 11, 13-14, 16-19, 22-29, 30 (last page only), 31-32, 34, 38, 40, 43.

Informant: Watt Sam. Stories, 22 and 32 are from Charlie Jumper.
On the first and last pages of story 9, are written the native names and clan affiliations of Watt Sam, Nancy Taylor, and Lizzie Rooster. On the first page of story 14 are listed Natchez and Cherokee clan names (transcribed in Manuscript Number 4144).
