This collection consists of a photograph, a 1957 letter, and three drawings relating to the Jurca MJ-2 TempĂȘte (Tempest) (Homebuilt). This collection also contains ten color snapshots and corresponding negatives from 2001 taken at Jurca's office and workshops, located at an airport outside of Paris.

Marcel Jurca was a Romanian-born pilot who flew for the Luftwaffe during World War II before defecting to France. During the 1950s Jurca designed the single-seat, wood-and-fabric aerobatic Jurca MJ-2 TempĂȘte (Tempest) (Homebuilt). Jurca went on to build a number of homebuilts, including the Jurca MJ-77 (3/4 Mustang).
