This accession consists of records documenting the management of a project to preserve artifacts from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Project Apollo. The project, which was primarily funded with a Save America's Treasures grant, included space suits and the Saturn V rocket. Allan A. Needell, Curator, served as the Contracting Officer's Technical Representative for the contracts associated with the project. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, proposals, specifications, reports, contracts, change orders, agreements, submittals, technical drawings, test analysis results, cost estimates, budget documents, fund raising information, grant proposals, presentations, images, and related materials. Some materials are in electronic format.
